It’s rainbows and sunshine
This week the sun came out in full force in Seattle. Such clear days you could see the mountain ranges, including Mt. Rainier. The days warmed and so have we. After months of gray skies, we’re enjoying this short reprieve and with Spring just around the corner, even the cherry trees have joined in and begun to bloom.
I’ll blame my ongoing obsession with rainbows on the influx of Vitamin D. While entirely unintentional, I find myself repeatedly gravitating toward bright, warm colors – and plenty of them – including this week’s round up of projects and products.

Happy distractions
Smiling over these photogenic pooches that bring together two of my favorite things, loving pets and photo booths.
Appreciating this single woman and her mannequin family. All in the name of women’s lib…and a little fun 🙂
Wondering how big the piece of paper had to be that made this.
Job envy
Drooling over Bill Bonner’s job as the official archivist for National Geographic. In his prestine white cotton gloves, I rather fancy him as a photographic archaeologist, unearthing long-forgotten images. Each one revealing a bit more about who we are and where we’ve been. (via Messy Nessy Chic)
Processing the sheer magnitude of creativity, talent and detail that went into Annie Atkin’s graphic designs for Wes Anderson’s new movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Current obsessions
Daydreaming I’m laying on a stack of pillows with a great story in hand at this magical museum of children’s books.
Traveling to the end of the observable universe with Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
Have a fabulous weekend and see you Monday!
