Claude Monet’s garden at Giverny
It’s been just short of a week since we returned from our Paris trip and we’re finally settled back into the routine of things, well, sort of… I’ve shaken up my normal by taking a new job. It was tough leaving the old spot behind, with so many wonderful, generous and caring people. Over brunch this past weekend, though, a friend pointed out that it’s the best way to leave a job – on good terms. I’ll have two weeks to settle, rest, and tend to my ever growing—always self-imposed—to do list. I’m really quite excited to have this reboot time. I’ve been in dire need of it and as we all know, vacations rarely tend to do the trick. It’s a good time for me to clear out all the cluttered thoughts by tending to them one by one. As long as I don’t get too swayed by couch potato syndrome, I should have a good shot at having a truly fresh start two weeks from now when I begin a new routine of walking to work, hanging with a new bunch of cool kids, and diving into a new creative challenge.
Here’s to a Getting Things Done + just a little Netflix binging kind of week!
