L.M. Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, said it well when she remarked that the world is a better place with October on the calendar.
Autumn is by far my favorite season and October is the realization of all the wonderful things it has to offer—crisp Fall air, changing leaves, corn mazes, hay rides, and pumpkin carving. As we all start to retreat and settle in for winter, October is our one last reprieve when the air is brisk but still inviting and a late afternoon walk can fill your senses with warm hues and promising scents.
Here’s wishing you all a wonderful Autumn week.
