I’m so relieved to be heading back home today. As much as I love NYC, I arrived with the hint of a cold that has quickly blew up, leaving me hotel-bound in such a magical place. Just torture. Okay, it’s not quite that dramatic. I did get out a fair amount – Chelsea Market’s Artists & Fleas, holiday windows, Kate’s Paperie, yummy Korean, John Derian, etc. – but you know, when in NY you don’t want to spend amount of time stuck and stuffy in bed.
On the bright side, I had plenty of time to catch up on all my feeds. Here’s the best of what I read and watched:
Otherworldly tree cathedral.
Wise words on growing up and choosing to accept yourself.
Great roundup of DIY ornaments from The Crafted Life.
A seasonal guilty pleasure – Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars recipe (copycat).
Emotional confusion over ragtime Sexual Healing.
NailSnaps lets you put your favorite kitty or pooch on your digits.
Can’t wait until June for Pixar’s new movie, Inside Out.
I remember when Sue premiered at Chicago’s Field Museum but I never knew the story behind her debut until I watched this CNN documentary.
