Happy Friday, y’all! I am more than ready to welcome the weekend. Saturday we have a wreath making class at Pantry at Delancey and Sunday I head off to NYC for work (and holiday shopping). Somewhere in the mix I also hope to muster the energy to complete a few more DIY holiday crafts to share with you. What are you up to this weekend?!
Here are my favorite Internet finds of the week:
I have a new crush and kindred spirit in Bonnie Mackay, a purveyor of handcrafted ornaments from throughout history and around the world.
One hundred fifty pounds of gingerbread went into this year’s White House holiday decorations.
I hope to squeeze in a visit to see the origami tree at the AMNH next week when I’m in NYC.
This felt and velvet kumquat wreath is both lovely and gives you an excuse to say kumquat.
Another lovely DIY project, copper mistletoe.
This gold leaf and marble holiday gift wrap might outshine the gift.
A ream of copy paper, scissors, tape, and a little sweat and you’ve got yourself a stylish office party.
So many books, so little time.
