I can hardly believe we’re half way through the year. I’ll be marking the halfway point at a friend’s 40th prom-themed birthday, which sounds equally exciting and terrifying. Then, a week from now I head off to a creative retreat hosted by Lotta Jansdotter, which at this moment of unpreparedness and exhaustion also sounds equally exciting and terrifying. The latter only lasting until I’ve boarded my outbound flight. This month and year have been a whirlwind for sure, with extreme highs and terrible lows. To bring a little cheer to my day, and hopefully yours too, here are a few of my favorite Internet finds this month. Enjoy!
Russian senator, Valentina Petrenko, may be the muse to my Halloween costume this year. Her hair deserves tribute.
This R2-D2 beetle is beyond cute.
Masterfully hilarious matchboxes of cats at bars.
Lovely Instagram account that cherishes and celebrates family photos, one memory at a time.
A good daily reminder for all us makers, Make to Last.
Oh so teeny tiny paper plants.
Coveting this black diamond snake ring.
Great roundup of design-minded watering cans.
I’ll be treating myself to these raised planter boxes just as soon as we buy our first home.
Planning to cry during the upcoming movie, Marwen.
Can hardly wait for my favorite HBO show to be back this August.
