Summers in Seattle are always a cherished time for locals as we look to fill up on sun rays. As a transplant, I’ve grown to appreciate this ritual, though I am still content to be indoors with the windows open and the rooms sun-soaked. It takes a very special occasion to drag most indoors during these precious few months and I believe this round up of creative events fits the bill. From plants to circuitry to block and screen printing, there’s a little something for everyone to recharge our imaginations and inspiration, even if only for a few hours.
Quick programming note that after quite a break, I’m rebooting this series to be quarterly. Knowing about events farther in advance should hopefully make it easier to plan for and attend.
